Dr. Blank, born and raised locally, is honored to be a physician. He gives each patient the time, care, attention and expertise he would expect his family to receive. He graduated with honors from Georgetown University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree with honors from the University of Maryland and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Blank trained as an intern and resident at Georgetown University, where he also served as the Chief Administrative Resident. Dr. Blank is a board certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Blank has practiced more than 30 years and thus his breadth and depth of experience is extensive. He has served as the managing senior partner of his OB GYN group and on the Clinical Governance Board of Capital Women’s Care. He is an early advocate and promoter of tele-health to improve and expand the delivery of healthcare. He has special interest in preventative healthcare and patient education, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), menopause management and the gynecologic care of women diagnosed with breast cancer.
In addition to his private practice Dr. Blank formerly served as the Medical Director of the Teen Connection of Takoma, a clinic serving the needs of the under-served teens in the Greater Washington area; and a Fellow at the Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Blank is voted to the Best Physicians both in Washingtonian Magazine and Washington Consumer Checkbook. His proudest accomplishment, however, is his family; he is married with four children.
