Dr. Kruse earned her medical degree and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. During residency, she pursued additional training in Complex Family Planning at Oregon Health & Science University. Before medical training, Dr. Kruse worked in patient advocacy in D.C., and is excited to return to the area to care for the community. During residency, she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received Tulane’s Award for Excellence in Clinical and Surgical Teaching and the Veterans Health Care System Resident Surgery Award.
Dr. Kruse provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, with interests in contraceptive care, complex family planning, high-risk pregnancy, in-office procedures, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She values building long-term relationships with patients grounded in open communication and shared decision-making — so every patient feels comfortable, respected, and empowered in their care. Outside the office, she enjoys exploring D.C.’s restaurant scene, hiking and biking with her partner and dog, and attending the city’s museums, concerts, and cultural events.
